This was an adaptive reuse project converting an existing 9,333 sf, 3-story, office building into an inpatient rehabilitation facility for patients with eating disorders. The project was located in the Meadowbrook neighborhood of Birmingham, AL. Some major elements of the renovation included: adding a new fire line to provide for a new fire suppression system, adding an elevator, adding a full commercial kitchen with dining areas, and converting the top floor into a residential living area with 6 full bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms.
