50,000-square-foot, three-story building on Veterans Parkway features surgical suites, offices
Nashville, TN - Oman-Gibson Associates (OGA), a full-service health care real estate firm based in Nashville, recently completed construction on a medical office building and surgery center development in partnership with Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA). The $20.8 million, 51,291-square-foot facility is located at 5109 Veterans Parkway in Murfreesboro.
The first and second floors of the TOA Murfreesboro Westlawn property include a sports performance center complete with an outdoor sports turf area, an MRI suite, orthopaedic urgent care services, dedicated space for physical therapy and specialized hand therapy services, a wellness studio, patient exam rooms and state-of-the-art imaging facilities. The building’s third floor is a dedicated surgery center.
“This highly anticipated new development brings clinical and rehabilitative orthopaedic services closer to home for thousands of Murfreesboro patients who want easy access to quality care,” said Rob Simmons, chief executive officer of TOA. “OGA has been a trusted development partner for many years because they understand health care and have all the resources to manage our projects from beginning to end so we can focus on what is most important to us, our patients.”
This is OGA’s second major Murfreesboro health care development project. The local developer also completed the $16 million, 13,000-square-foot New Salem Surgery Center, developed in partnership with Ascension Saint Thomas and USPI.

Batten Shaw Construction served as general contractor and Nashville’s ESa is served as the project’s architectural firm.
Currently, OGA has 225,000 square feet of medical real estate under development in the Nashville MSA and more than 500,000 square feet in current projects and deals in progress around the country.
